The Wireless team will be applying configuration updates to Network Functions on the US East site. The work includes UPF configuration changes requiring restarts, timer parameter updates, and logging configuration enablement. There will be rolling restarts of some components, which have the potential to cause disruption to active data sessions. These disruptions are not expected to last more than 5 minutes.
This would affect users connected in North, Central and South America as well as the Caribbean.
Our Wireless Engineers will perform maintenance on our Wireless services billing infrastructure. Small delays in WDR generation may occur.

Our Telephony Engineers will perform maintenance on our inbound SIP proxy servers in the Canada (sip.telnyx.ca) and Australia (sip.telnyx.com.au) regions.
During this maintenance, our TLS certificate for each proxy server will be renewed. These important changes will happen.
- We'll switch Certificate Authority from Sectigo to LetsEncrypt.
- The "clientAuth" EKU is being deprecated, which may affect customers who use mTLS (mutual TLS) for SIP signaling.
This change may be important for any customer who has our old (current) TLS certificate or root CA certificate (or chain) loaded into an SBC/appliance/phone.
A notification was sent to customers recently (21st July, subject "Action may be required: TLS certificate changes for Telnyx SIP proxies"); more-detailed information can be found online here.
For any customer seeking to test TLS compatibility before the renewal, note that our Staging SIP proxy server at sipstaging.telnyx.com:5061 can be used to test both inbound and outbound calls (and registrations); it has a certificate from the same certificate authority.
For any customer not using TLS, the change is expected to be completely seamless.

We identified and mitigated a capacity issue in the backend service that manages telephony tokens and client SDK credentials. This caused intermittent HTTP 503 responses for some credential-related API requests.
After increasing service capacity and resource allocation, the service remained stable throughout the monitoring period. We will continue reviewing capacity settings to help prevent recurrence.

Following a period of monitoring, connectivity and service performance have remained stable. Customers should no longer experience issues across affected services in the Australia region.
We apologise for the disruption and appreciate your patience.
After monitoring of the initial fixes implemented to resolve the issue, we have not seen any recurrences of the problem. We are marking this as resolved but will continue to monitor.
